Say that they admire Michael Jackson and that they look up to him, why don't any of them stand up for him when people talk crap on him?

They obviously don't admire him as much as they say.
James Bourne sticks up for him and he always states that if it wasn't for Michael Jackson he would never have learned to sing or play guitar. During Michael's trial James stuck up for him in the UK press.
Pete Burns is another celeb who sticks up for Michael, he wrote about how much he admires him in his autobiography. He recently wore a rosette on TV with Michael's photo in the middle of it and during the show said he loved Jackson. He often says Michael is innocent.
And of course Nicole Richie sticks up for him, she said she slept in his bed when she little many many times and that Michael was like a second father to her, not just a god father.

Michael Jackson is the cause of all of his own problems. No one forced him to sleep with young children or have so much plastic surgery that he looks freakish. He had choices, and made the wrong ones.

attention getter so
that people can
compare them to

as other talented

And it makes
