I think that the Patriots have the best shot of any team since the 1972 Dolphins to go undefeated, at least in the regular season. Their schedule is very friendly featuring games against a banged-up Eagles, winless Miami, a weak Buffalo team and an equally weak Jets squad. The only teams that maybe could give them a run are the Giants and the Steelers and I would not bet on either of those teams.

However I do believe in the "any given Sunday" factor, i.e. on any given Sunday any team can beat anyone else. If you look at the teams, particulary the Colts, that have gone undefeated late in the year, each has lost to a team they should have beat going away.

I would not be surprised to see the Patriots get sloppy and drop 1.

I think it is highly likely, especially since the team who was supposed to be their best competition down the stretch (The Steelers) lost...to the Jets this week. But unfortunately, should they go 16-0, that final, historic win will not be seen by the majority of America. Their final game (against the New York Giants on Saturday Dec. 29, 8:15 p.m.) will be aired on the NFL Network, which most cable providers either dropped or put on the super-premium packages that the average person can't afford.

I don't think it really matters if they do or not. They were the last ones standing when 3 teams were undefeated (including the reigning SB champ) and that's all that really mattered and they showed all the $h1t talkers that said they needed some videos to win games that they can & will win even with the NFL watching their every move. So, even if they lose 1 or even 2 the way they are playing they have a really good chance to win the SUPER BOWL and that's what they really care about.

The Patriots...?...are cheaters.

I think that they are STILL cheating. There is no way that Tom Brady and the Pats offense are that good without knowing the defensive calls of their opponent. I wish they would at least lose one of their final games. They will probably go to the Super Bowl, but hopefully lose to either the Packers or the Redskins. Go Redskins!!!!!! Hail to e'm!!!!!!

I think they will win all the remaining games and then the super bowl.

Redskins to win vs. Pats? Yeah right if the rule is the Pats can only run 20 points against them.

I think the only team left with a shot at them is the Steelers... The Pats haven't been hit like that D hits you... but with Polamlu out for the season (knee) probably not

That is something that's very hard to do. If they stay healthy it may be possible. The only team that stands in their way now it PITTSBURGH, but they play in New England. If they beat them, I believe they will go undefeated. I am rooting for them though. I was born and raised in Boston.

Hi. I am a Patriots fan but, no, I don't thinks so. Still one of the greatest teams this area ever had!

Yes. The players want it. They may be pros, but if down the stretch they are still healthy, they'll play for it. There's pride involved - and they probably all think, when will we ever be in this kind of situation again? So - barrin egregious injuries, they'll shoot for it.

I really don't care for the regular season, as long as they get the first seed, which I think they clinch if they win 3 more games. As for playoffs at Foxboro in cold weather...lol good luck.
