does my laptop's battery worsens (or the laptop it self, by that matter) if I don't recharge it when it is about to shutdown?

And the implications on the operating system? isn't a shutdown such as that too sudden for it?

the only thing detrimental that i know to laptop battery's are
recharging your battery only partway when you recharge, instead of all the way...
and that's only if you do it often...
same applies to ipod batteries.
all rechargeable batteries slowly die....

Hi. Your best life will be if you get close to a shutdown (warning) before a full recharge. Still limited, but best life.
