Generally, women feel the urge to urinate more when they're pregnant because the growing uterus actually puts pressure on the bladder. Normally, you feel the urge to go to the bathroom when the bladder is full of liquid because of the pressure that it creates, but when you're pregnant your growing uterus is pretty much fooling your bladder into thinking it's full. Thus, that's why when you go, you probably didn't even have a completely full bladder. Hope this helped =)

Because the baby has decided that it is really fun to take a nap on your bladder.

Seriously, though, everything in there is all squished and mushed around. It's the things that expand that have the biggest impact. Your bladder is squished aside so that when it fills up a tiny bit, it feels like it's full.... then you only dribble out a few drops and you're like, "Is that it? I just ran two blocks and pushed three innocent bystanders out of my way for THAT?!?!!"

Have fun being pregnant.

Usually because there's a fetus using your bladder like a beanbag chair. If get the urge to go but then can't, it could be an infection. See the doctor.

First of all it is becasue the baby is sitting on top of the bladder. Esp later on in the pregnancy. Secondly when a women is pregnant her body increases the amount of fluid and blood in her body.

Have you not read any prenatal books about how your body is changing???? Your uterus is getting larger and is not pressing on the top of your bladder, thus having to go to the bathroom more frequently.

usually it's b/c the baby is sitting on your bladder. You might want to rule out a UTI though. UTI's can feel like you have to go really bad, but then nothing comes out.
