I hate when people say that college football is better than NFL, even worse are the pretentious people that say they only watch college football. I want to slap the next douche that says that. You can make the argument that college players play better cause there not getting paid but in the NFL the top players arent make millions because there not giving it their all. Thats just my beef with people that hate on NFL football. Just shut up and watch both cause its all football.

I don't hate it, but I think it's funny when people say that college is better or the college people play better. Come on, you could take the best college team and they would be destroyed by a subpar NFL team.
College is like if you take the two worst NFL teams, put in their worst players for each position, and make them even worse than they already are. That's college football right there. The vast majority of college players simply aren't good enough to make it into the NFL.
Any "excitement" in college football is caused by everybody else sucking so much. A good example is Vince Young. He was the man in college. He had everybody hyped up. But in the NFL, he's most likely the worst starting QB in the entire league. All the crappy college players made him look good.
Some people just like mediocrity I guess.

No. College football is much better than those spoiled rich guys who will leave your team to play for the enemy in a heartbeat. I quit on the NFL in 1995 when hated Deion Sanders came from the hated 49ers to my team the Cowboys. When I was little, all the players stayed on the same team so there was loyalty.

I do agree with your comment. They both work there butts off. But I must say as a huge sports fan, I think once they move up from college to the NFL,(or Basketball, Baseball etc..) the money changes them a little, their attitudes and sometimes their behavior and not always for the best. In spite of which athlete, college or Pro, if you love the sport you'll just shut up and watch.

I agree with you first of all in my opinnion college football is to hard to follow, with teams and players changing every year there is no way to know every body like you can in the NFL. I do like watching both however and think that the NFL doesn't have the spectacularity of NCAA as well as the bid rivalries and is sometimes much more fun to watch.

No I dont hate it at all, because I also think its better than the NFL. Why? Timeless rivalries, the rules force you to play better (not just the money), and the overtime rles are even better. I would love for you to try and slap me for feeling that way too! You wouldnt be able to use those hands to even change the tv channel on a saturday afternoon for the rest of your life!
But why do you care one way or the other, if someone I know or that I dont know likes the NFL better then thats their right to feel that way. Im not right nor are they right. We just like different ****.

I watch both but I like college football more. It has nothing to do with money I just think it is more fun because anything can happen in a college game.

I don't watch college ball because I got fed up with the BCS and all the old money that was controlling it give me a break I can't watch a badger games but i can watch a norte dame game on national tv

hold up...college players do play better since they care more about getting their team a national title or to try and get themselves in the nfl. paid players play hard too since they could lose their money
