Yes. But all the money that's being made from the war is going to a few people at the top, making shitloads. If we understood that, we could rise up as a people and take that money back, and end this trivial war.

Not really, the war funding is a small part of the US budget. The state of the economy has more to do with loose lending practices by the banks and overspending by the consumer based on these sub par loans. In common english, people used their homes as ATM's and now they can't pay back their loans. There are so many bad loans out there that the lending market is drying up causing the economy to slow down.

The war is a popular scapegoat by politico's.

No. The U.S. military goes through a lot of wear and tear on theri equipment. it's Americans that are building new equipment to supply the war effort. No war means those people would probably be out of a job. Also the troops that went to Iraq and Afganistan got paid more than just sitting around in their bases at home.

Actually, I think the economy is pretty good.
4.6 unemployment . . . I just don't know if it gets any better.
What worries me is, if people actually think it is bad, what on earth will they do when it does go bad say, like around 1979, when unemployment went to 12%.
now those were some very bad times for a whole lot of people. I was one of them.
I worry about how some people will cope with REAL hard times.
I remember the madness in New Orleans after the disaster a couple of years ago and just have to stop and wonder.

World War 2 brought us out of the Great Depression. So it can actually be good for the economy.

Well one would think so, but alas ! After years & years of watching politicians, I would have to say NO. No because of this: There would be someone somewhere somehow, a politician of course, who would make some blundering mistake & the whole drain thing on the economy would start over again. It mightnot be a war, it mightnot be a famine, it mightnot even be newsworthy, but in this day & time almost everything is. It might even be as simple as the president, or for the sake of arguement, the vice president, getting caught going to a massage parlour........................................

Of course. It isn't "money" being spent, it's treasure....precious metals, materials, food, steel, iron, platinum, gold, silver, oil, medicines, etc.

All that could have been invested into the economy.

some say the budget for war isn't that big, but remember it is all debt-financed. This war is done on a credit card.

Bingo, yes declare peace, that would reduce taxes by more than half over all for everyone, and the cost of gov would go down, they would thus dismantle the dept of energy, dept of education, dept of social services, teh dept of military pentagon etc which are corporations not fed at all, remember he who controls the money is ruler, the bankers managed through coericion assasinations and schemes and bribery etc to get the gov to turn over making of money to control the currency to private bankers, and they got a monoploy on it through making it unlawful to use any other medium of exchange hence the confiscation of gold and silver in past, and the confiscation of gold and silver of the liberty dollars. they basically are the reason we are never at peace no profit in that. war on poverty, war on obestiy yet to be declared, war on drugs war on terrorism (boogeyman) and of course military action against other nations who don't submit to the bankers wishes, without any wars at all there is no excuse to demand excess taxations and other payments such as permits to start a business (something required only under military rule or war action not under peace) licenses to drive is under marial law not under constitutional rule, permits to improve your home, permits to use the roads etc, (license plates) these permits aer what prisoners or slaves have to have, permission to exercise a privelege, free persons (as opposed to pows which we are considered, under the trading with the enemy act) free persons don't need permission to exercise a right. right freely travel on roads we pay for, freedom to do what you want with your property without having to have permission, as long as you don't tread on others property rights to do so.

we are now considered under martial law (due to all these wars we have or that are fabricated as such) only in war can constitutional rights be suspended of course war is never over so they say. but constitutional suspension was limited to two years I believe. and only war that is declared by congress is legit non of these wars have been declared as such by congress. by ending all wars, taxes drop, burdensome laws are lifted, more money and freedom is gained for business, travel and more money to feed and house yourself and they have no excuse to keep taking your money. we would thus gain more control over what medium of exchange we will use, the bankers lose power and control, more people start to rebuild their wealth, civil rights are restored and common law (land laws) are restored and the gov thus becomes less necessary and are subserviant to us not the other way around. right now we are under sea laws. as for LOST law of the sea treaty I think it has already been implemented signing the treaty is only a formality. it has been enacted long ago, except control over the military of the usa. remember who controls the money (property yourself, land, assets actual money like gold and silver) is ruler.

now this is how I understand all the research I have done, but feel free to elaberate to make the picture clearer for me, I do hate not understanding something, it really bugs me when I cannot connect the dots correctly.

RRRR
