This would be in a residential area and they have those speed bumps up and you don't see it till it's too late and your car flies over it and of course you get the scrape. But my question I guess is this. Don't you feel like you are in a ride at an amusement park?

I hate those stupid speed bumps. They are the biggest nuisance and probably cause more accidents than they are designed to avoid. Only tonight, driving home in the dark and rain, I went through a very short stretch of road which, ridiculously, had about eight speed bumps. The white paint marks on them were almost completely obliterated and, had I been a stranger to this area driving at the legal 30mph instead of about 5mph, I would not have seen them at all, probably had an accident or at least done my car quite a mischief.

I'm familiar with the concept of not seeing the speed bump and flying over it
but, I've never been on a ride that would come close to that feeling at an amusement park..

i hate it when that happens. i was going up a steep driveway into a parking lot and i was creeping along very slow but my car still scraped the bottom of the front bumper and it pi$sed me off because i had just got a scrape taken out of it from some ding bat that got me in a parking lot. oh, yea, the roller coaster!

It's especially memorable when you have a full bladder. Better yet, when your pregnant and laboring neighbor shrieks wheeeeeee at the "ride" to the hospital. Can you imagine the memories we made that day?.

Naw I feel like wht the hell are these things not marked....have u ever went over the ones that are all black to match with the street and trick u into thinkin they are not there....
stupid bumps stopping me from running over people....
thats my American right dammit!!

see... that's the problem ... I carry around this TNT in my head and going over those bumps are scary for me ..... one too big of a dip and.......its a new hairstyle for me.
