I get through 2 litres a day - don't drink tea or coffee, but touch ma bru, and I'll cut yer hands off!
I actually get headaches and get very snappy if I go longer than a few hours without a drink of ice cold bru. God help me if the Barrs plant ever goes bankrupt.

Do you remember the advert for Irn Bru in the mid-late 80's? 3 children ,a blonde white kid with a skinhead, one black kid and a girl? The Girder is a magnet and picks one of the kids up?

Well...that "skinhead" child... is my brother! :) he's not so cute now...

I'm an Aberdonian living in London, but LOVE irn bru and understand the girders too. Sadly however, my tipple is Rum & Coke, but I love the whiskey in the winter.

Boy if Irn Bru is the national drink, the Scotch must've gone south.

Now, a bottle of the Bru (got to be in a glass bottle), a Mortons roll with fried egg and tattie scone and you've got yourself a hangover cure.
'Mon the girders - made in Scotland!

Sorry to 'scouse borrow' 2 factors as i do no longer understand the respond yet choose to remark on the question. Is it no longer a wee bit annoying that the Canadian government have pronounced 'specific we would have this drink yet we can't enable this actual element in it' why is it banned? what does it do? Why is it ok for Scots to drink yet no longer Canadians and human beings? Edit ; merely did somewhat seek on google there, and that i've got are available the time of this additive earlier, In France it is asserted as Ponceau 4R it grew to become into an additive in a strawberry yoghurt that my son had an allergic reaction to so I easily have a speedy study on the returned of the labels now to objective and circumvent it in destiny. So thank you for this question beastie as I easily have merely found out some exciting suggestion on yet another shade additive that could desire to be inflicting problems.
