i was wondering if this was normal or if anyone else had experinced the same thing,

I'm 16 weeks and 2 days pregnant , and i have been feeling movement i know its normal to start feeling movement at this stage like fluttering etc but im feeling full on kicks and jabs and tumbles which i didnt think would happen to later on due to the babies small size at this gestational age

My placenta is attached to the back wall could it be possible im feeling such strong movements because the baby is right to the front of my stomach? also this is my second child so i know im meant to feel it more early i just didnt think i would be able to feel anything more then a flutter

btw im not complaining its great to feel my baby and know their okay im just wondering if it is the norm , or if anyone has any ideas of why this may be , also i know im 16 weeks not any more from conception dates and u/s dates

It is never abnormal to experience movements during pregnancy. Especially at 16 weeks. Having the Placenta attached to the back wall probably has something to do with it. Sometimes movements aren't even the baby. Sometimes their something else. Pregnancy is a very complicated thing and you never know exactly what is happening. Congratulations! The baby is being born into very good hands! I can tell because you care about whats normal and whats not so much and that this is the second child you have had so like I said before, Congratulations!

I'm 18 weeks with #2 and started feeling movement a couple of weeks ago too. I was also shocked how strong the kicks are already. I love it too. It seemed like forever with my 1st before I felt something. Congrats!

Have you had an ultrasound yet? You might be having twins. I know that someone carrying twins feels movement a lot sooner and a lot more pronounced. If you aren't having pain with the movement I wouldn't worry about it, but if you still feel unsure go ahead and check with your doctor. Is this your first pregnancy? I know with my second child I felt the movements a lot earlier and a lot stronger than I did with my first.

confident at 18 weeks you may start to experience the strikes and kicks. you may certainly start up feeling them as early as sixteen weeks, yet on person-friendly women human beings start to experience them between 18 and 21. in basic terms wait they only get greater common and greater good as your being pregnant is going on, yet you may experience great approximately it understanding that your infant is o.k..
