6+8+10 = 24, (just add the three sides)


Definition of Perimeter - the sum of the sides!

perimeter= the sum of all the sides

so if the sides are 6, 8, 10

you do 6+8+10
and you get a perimeter of 24 inches or 2 feet(12 inches in one foot)

I really hope you're kidding. Perimeter is the distance AROUND a shape. It gives you every single side. Add them up.
