that he will just slink away with his tail between his legs?

I wish I had more details, because, not to toot my own horn, but I have a knack for this line of work. In fact, I just wrote a 3 page letter this Sunday to a judge for my brother's girlfriend who is battling her ex in court over custody of her kids, and she won before they even got to the talking.

EDIT: I know! Hire a transexual prostitute to hit on him.

It's hard to say since I don't know the specifics of your situation. But I know firsthand how (some) ex-husbands can be. The man I was married to for 18 years did some pretty horrendous things during that time (and since). Yet he remains arrogant and self-justifying, and I often wonder how he can sleep at night. Funny thing, though -- the more I forcus on HIM -- how mean, stupid and awful he is -- the more upset and hurt "I" feel. So it's all kind of counterproductive! I have a wonderful life now, and I don't want to give up a second of it to his Bull****. Lately, I've been making a big effort to just not react ... period. He isn't my responsibility anymore. I've been so much more happy and at peace, knowing that I am controlling my life (and emotions), not him. I would advise you to do the same. Then sit back and let him make his own bed. He will have to lie in it ... with no help from you! Karma will rule in the end.

I know it's tempting right now Lisa, but take the high road, and you won't regret it. Revenge really is a dish best served cold. I trust that you will do the right thing, and everything will be alright.

i can understand being p-ed off and wanting revenge but perhaps the best way to do it so to not lt him know that hes bothered you if he gets a rise out of you he will think he is causeing you problems and thereby "winning"
just stay cool and show him you are a better person than he is

One funny way is to write "Im a ..." on his car with shaving cream. The shaving cream takes away the paint so he will have your message displayed on his car for the whole world to see until he gets a new paintjob. Enjoy :D

Get a dress and return it to him in front of his friends while saying that he left that behind.

Why would you do that? You would really be humiliating yourself by stooping so low.
