A jest, perhaps. Not as delivered by a human being, like Shecky Greene. I feel I'm up to it so long as I'm not TOO serious: I'd prefer to die a gentle death of my own choosing, with a smile on my face. But if it is violent, I'll be sure to have a DEFIANT smile on my face.

I'm afraid it's quite the other way - deadly serious and incomprehensibly indifferent. Nature is zooming right along, and you better believe it, and if you get in the way it won't even register the splat. I think it is the farthest thing from a joke around here.
