We get HDTV from Cox (beautiful picture!!!) but pay extra for it. They might give it to you free as a promotion for a few months, but it's standard to pay a little extra for it.

I'm assuming you know you'll need an HDTV screen. Best quality picture is on the HD station for KPBS as they (KPBS) have equipment that can broadcast the denser images. Another real good HD image comes from Cox channel 4, where the Padres games are broadcast. You will quickly come to know more about the skin problems of the Padres players than you ever would want to know.

By the way, most HD signals broadcast do not take full advantage of the capacity of the HD density so you will only occasionally see the higher quality broadcasts. The stations figure we can't tell the difference...but wait til you see one of the high density broadcasts by the KPBS HD channel...you'll notice the difference in quality right away.
