Rach, I'm not 6 years old. I don't think you can find anyone of your age here, so go look somewhere else for a playmate.

Some say they are angels' tears and they fall for two reasons: sadness and happiness. At a funeral, when there are showers, the olds always tell you that the angels are crying for the dead soul. At weddings, when again rain falls, they say the angels are jubilant and are blessing the union of two souls. Old wives' tale? I'm not sure but it's a food for thought.

LISTEN TO THE RAIN

Listen to the rain as it falls
Listen to the babies as they call
Could the raindrops falling be the tears shed from above
Listen to the rain as it falls.

Tears can wash away the dust of strife
waters trees and gives us all new life
take a drink of water if you really understand
Listen to the rain as it falls

Rain is like the tears that I shed
When life gets rough and I'm sorry for what I did
when things are bad and I need a helping hand
I just listen to the rain as it falls

Rain is like the music of the soul
The rhythm of the rain calms me I know
with this world so full of hate I hope you understand
You can listen to the rain as it falls.

Oh yes I do believe the angels are crying whenever we have a downpour. Maybe it's their way of telling us to slow down and take a moment to reflect on something more sublime than our mundane existence.

If, however, it's just some light drizzles - with the sun shining brightly up there - then these are signs of special blessings for which we should be thankful for.

It depends on religion,
Some Greek people believe rain is a sign of the Greek god from the seas. Others think it is just a thing that the earth does.

I am sorry I do not know a religion that believes rain is the angel's tears. I think some Greek or Russian people believe that but i am not sure. :(

All rain-clouds are angels, and whenever they feel sad and sorry about the plight of an area of sun-scorched Earth, or thirsty human beings, they cry their hearts out - and their raindrop tears keep falling from Heaven !

If you are asking me, I'll say no. When the water evporated is too heavy for the clouds to carry it, it rains. I could be wrong about this since it's BEEN a long while since I last explain this. Good luck. I respect your belief...
