We've beem married almost 23 years, he is the love of my life!
We've been through so much together, hes so patient and loving. I just want to get him something he would love, not the normal socks, shirt, shoes. No, i want something a wonderful man deserves.
Any ideas?

thanks

A night away - together - doing something HE will like. Then, the days leading up to Christmas, give him one clue a day. The suspense will drive him crazy. Also, plan sexy attire for the "evening".

If he follows a particular team or player, an autographed lithograph or appropriate ball from his favorite player is a good choice. (Buy from a reputable dealer, they do exist.)

Some other artwork print that he'd like, suitably framed (or with a handmade certificate for personalized framing later, so he can choose).

sports car, world series/super bowl tickets, final four tickets,

less expensive? you can never go wrong with power tools, some little gadget thingie he can pull out in front of his friends and say, "the wife bought me this" basically anything in the middle three or four aisles of Home Depot would be cool,

Find out from his family what his most favourite toy or childhood possession was back when he was young (not too young though or he wont remember) then track one down on ebay or wherever you can.
