I've recently started listening to techno and no one that I know listens to it. Therefore, I'd like to know who to listen to and where I can get it.

I don't think most of these are considered techno, they all fit under the encompassing electronic genre though.

I guess it depends on what type of techno you want to hear.
If you like house, you could try Bad Boy Bill or Richard (Humpty) Vission - they're fairly commercial and have beats that are easy to groove to.
If you like trance, you could try Paul Oakenfold or Paul VanDyke.
I don't know what category Gigi D'Agostino falls into, but I really liked his CD Le Tour D'Jours.
