you will bust your stiches. however if there was only like one or two and it HAS been 3 weeks you could try if you like. At your own risk of course. not only do the stiches need healing but that skin could get infected if you pop a stitch and introduce bacteria into it. They usually say 4-6 weeks. your almost there. I think i did at 3 weeks. Just know you are going against doctors orders and be safe.

NO! you must wait till the stiches are gone the full 6 weeks sex will rip your stiches out and there is a high risk of infection cause lets face it guys are not always the cleanest. just wait till you get the all ok from the doctor.

They used to say 4 weeks, but then it changed to 6 because the dr would like you to wait until they are able to check you at your visit and make sure everything is healing properly and that there are no complications. If everything healed properly and there is no pain or complications you can realistically have sex as soon as you are comfortable, the waiting is all a precautionary measure so the drs can make sure you are healthy and you dont cause infection, stitches tearing etc etc. To be honest I couldnt wait and had sex with my hubby after 3 weeks.....but we were super careful, went slow and I soaked in epson salts afterwards to make sure.....its like anything, most likely you will be ok, but there could be complications. Just be careful and USE BIRTH CONTROL!!! :)

It truly depends on you. The doc's advise waiting 6 weeks to give yourself time to heal. I don't know many who have actually waited that long. I only waited 2 weeks. If all the bleeding has stopped, I would say go ahead. Go slowly, be prepared, and willing, to stop if it hurts and don't go to any odd positions at first. I had to stop the first 2 or 3 times we tried after a baby, and that was okay with both of us. The biggest worry is infection so make sure both of you are clean, maybe take a shower together, and use a condom..both for pregnancy protection and the addition lubricating effects. Have fun!

6 weeks.. 8 is even better. I could tell you why you should not, but the Yahoo-igans would not like it. Let me put it this way... he will always like it when you are tight, and the stitches can take care of that to a great extent. No man wants the Grand Canyon for the rest of his life. Think about it.

Well my husband and I made to the 4 week mark with my daughter and less with my son. I still had stitches. It didn't hurt so we progressed. He didn't go porn star or anything. We just took it easy. It is said to wait till your six week check up, but we have sex several times a week so that wasn't working for us. Good Luck

U r supposed to wait for at least 6 weeks i think for it to properly heal, otherwise yes u can, if ur up to it. Make sure he uses a condom, otherwise u'll get another surprise sooner than u thought. Remember u r more fertile than ever now.

TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR, BUT OUT OF EXPERIENCE I CAN TELL YOU IT MIGHT HURT....oops sorry..I did not mean to yell at you.
I even would suggest just to wait a little longer than they say to make sure everything is really healed inside and you will enjoy sex as you did before.
