I do.
When I was a kid, I lived miles from what was once the world's largest game bird refuge (don't know if it still is), but I used to go out with my binocs and look at the migratory birds off the Great Salt Lake, except for the bajillion sea gulls.
Now I live farther from anywhere game birds gather, but I live in a valley and have a ton of birds go through in the winter. I put seed out and see a lot of different birds.
My favorites are probably the chickadee, the yellow-headed blackbird, good old' robin red breast, finches and the mountain bluebird. In Texas, I liked the meadowlarks and the killdeer. When I lived in Argentina, I loved to see the macaws, and toucans. Parakeets were a lot more common, and wild, too. I never got over walking down the roads outside of town and seeing parrots or toucans. Wild hummingbirds were all over the place.
Love birds - especially a roast chicken. Can't get enough turkey, but I'll pass on the duck thanks. Quail is very good.

Funny you ask this! I've never really had an interest in this topic, but I do now. One of my old teacher's daughter (she was then 8) and I used to "hang out" after school last year and we'd occasionally get bored and needed something to do. We decided to go out to the school parking lot and just have a little fun. She ran up to her mother's car and pointed out these specific 5 birds and gave them names. It was so funny. We'd go back every other day or so and look for them and they'd always be there. They occasionally left "surprises" too..haha.
From then on, she declared us the only two members of our own little "birdwatchers club" that was so secret according to her. We haven't done it in a while but I remember it like it was yesterday :) ah, the memories :) :)
oh and the birds' names were: (as named by the then 8 year old)
1. Jeepers
2. Creepers
3. Bob
4. Max
5. Joe
how creative?? right?

Yes, we live in the countryside and have a huge buzzard around, a tame robin, 2 woodpeckers plus many others. Then I go to work and see xxxxxx seaguls over the buildings and car park. - I hate that noise.

Not really. I'm not too interested in how many different types of birds there are, and I think it would be kind of boring, in my opinion, to sit and watch them.

rarely, i don't go out of my way to watch birds, it's definitely not a hobby of mine, but occasionally if i'm outside and lounging around and i happen to see a pretty bird then i might watch it awhile, thats the extent of it though.

Every year I have a nice little Robin in my garden. Gosh he or she can fairly eat big pieces of bread.

If you are being serious then I think the little feathery things are alright. OK, in our garden we have the resident Robin, Jenny Wren, various t*ts (no silly comments please! Yahoo wouldn't let me type in t*ts), chaffinches, blackbirds and the dreaded magpie. We don't see sparrows anymore or starlings, where have they all gone?
