I have, I know, I know - I don't like the way ppl are gearing up for xmas months before but I hate shopping when the shops are totally packed from mid December onwards...but then that means I have to start shopping early so I can avoid the crowds....but then that adds to the early Christmassyness of the shops, aaargh! So really the shops force us to shop early!

And I've been buying stuff on eBay and online shops, cos you have to buy it at least 3 weeks b4 Xmas to guarantee it'll be there in time what with unreliable royal mail etc.

Started and finished. Ive got enough to think about at xmas without the hassle of shopping too.

Kids xmas concerts, then kids off school and having to re-arrange shofts at work to cover childminding, having to work extra, parties, after-work drinks with management, Sorting out all the xmas food shop, I dont get the time I need to do it all so i shop for xmas through the year, a lot less stress, plus it makes it easier on the purse.

I am starting tomorrow when I get paid! Otherwise I don't get paid until just before Xmas and it will be to late because everything will have sold out and the queues and amount of people will be manic.

Yes, I have. On a different topic, it really irritates me to see the word Xmas. That is like crossing the Christ out of Christmas . Originally, we were supposed to celebrate his birthday then but everyone has turned it into a materialistic holiday. Just something to think about.
