I have a history project to do, i need a topic about conflict or compromise in world history. Needs to be appealing to the judges and something that i can really work with. Any ideas?

Neville Chamberlain, the Prime Minister of Britain before Winston Churchill, followed an appeasement policy with Adolph Hitler. He signed the Munich agreement in 1938 and allowed Hitler to take Czechoslovakia. We all know his appeasement/compromise policy was an utter failure and ultimately resulted in millions of death. He had a chance to stop Hitler before Germany reached its full strength and choose instead to deal with the devil. I'd suggest you research him on line and use this as a topic. You can go a long way with this and the judges will be impressed you know about him.

To me the best compromises in American history occurred in the formation of the Constitution. You can find information on this rather easily on the net.
The Cold War Conflict to me is one of the best topics on world conflict that ended in a peaceful resolution, I don't know how easy it will be to find articles on the topic however.
I wish you the best on the project.

Look up the Missouri Compromise, that will lead you down a rabbit hole of the great conflict and division over slavery that haunted this nation in the 19th century.

How far back...history?
1) why did religious laws get changed about inheritance...in biblical times.
2) how did Hitler's health affect his attitudes in the war and his aggression
3) how have unions affected industry in the past and today
4) why does our government let our jobs be exported when other country protect their industry. (japan-steel) (India-ramin)
(China-a Chinese partner)
Is this anything like you were wanting.??
