I'm writing a english paper on To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. (It's a awesome book!) and the assignment is a critical len essay... so i need to interpret this quote: "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in movement of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” - Martin Luter King Jr.
Don't get me wrong, I understand the quote, but I don't know how to express them onto my paper. So help me out, in your own words... can you explain the quote? (WITHOUT USING THE WORDS IN THE QUOTE) :]
Much appreciation!
