In this can you locate all the verbs?

I walk down the sidewalk slowly as my dog jumps. There stands my friend Jazmin talking to her neighbor. Her eyes are big and brown. She runs toward her house, grabbing a rake. When she returns, she skips. Jazmin turns her head toward me. I look at her and walk away.

thanks

walk, jumps, stands, talking, runs, grabbing, returns, skips, turns, look, walk.

what are the common factors in these words...the action words are the verbs.

Slowly is NOT a verb. Its an adjective that describes the action. Someone else said this was a verb. ARE is not a verb either, like someone else said.

I will do the first sentence but you have to figure out the rest. Verbs are action words... so the words in the first sentence are "walk" and "jumps." Get it? Verbs are things you, someone, or something is doing.
