It wasn't important in WWII. It had no effect on the outcome.
But combined with the fission bomb - and by 1952 the fusion bomb - this rocket technology would be the main factor in the "Cold War" between the two remaining world super powers,
the USA and the USSR. Both had atomic weapons and missile technology by the 1950s. Both employed captured German rocket scientists to build up their strategic arsenals of missiles.

If Hitler had listened to some of his more sensible officers rather than his yes men and astrologers he could have used the V2 rocket to stop the D-day invasion in it's tracks. He could also have deployed it in other theatres of the war very successfully. In this regard irt could have been a very important weapon to the Germans
It wasn't actually that important, however, because it was only used towards the end of the war as a weapon of terror (Hitler wanted to destroy London) but it paved the way for rocket technology both for warfare and space exploration.
There is a good documentary about one of the main creators of this technology - Werner Von Braun and it details his efforts in rocket technology before during and after World War Two. It covers the war and then the race to be the first in space between the Russians and the Americans whom (ironically) Werner Von Braun ended up working for.

It wasn't the most important, or anywhere near. Jet planes and nuclear bombs were more highly developed and far more important at the time. The jets in particular gave the allies a damned good scare. They didn't have anything that could touch them at the time. Thank God Hitler's monumental stupidity caused him to insist that the planes be redesigned as bombers instead of fighters (he was obsessed with the idea of a bomber that could reach the US) and by the time reality set in and production of the fighters began, it was far too late to effect the outcome of the war, mostly because the Nazis didn't have enough fuel for them. They'd lost the North African oil fields by then, and while they did succeed in distilling oil from shale, they couldn't keep up with the voracious appetites of jet engines. As for the V-2, it's only importance lies in what came after it. It's designer, Dr. Werner Von Braun, eventually wound up heading NASA's design team which created the Saturn 5 rocket that carried men to the moon.

In second world war there were other important weapons, I believe most important were M109 (Germany plane) and P51 (USA and UK plane). Those were used masively and meant win and loss in the air, which is a key factor in war even now. V-2 was a revolutionary device, very much predecesor to modern ICBM and some space launchers. Indeed the germans had top engineering back then. If it had been used perhaps some three more years there could have been misiles going to US and more precisely to targets in UK.

at the same time as no longer a place that somebody could generally seek for armed forces classic weapons, pass to the Cabela's clothing stores internet internet site. they have an extremely severe high quality 'gun library', and it contains a form of classic firearms, some going returned to the mid 1800's, there's a area there categorized "armed forces palms", and has a severe high quality decision of rifles, to inlcude BAR, M1 Garand an M1 Carbine

Only in the way it led to post-war developments. The V-2 had very little effect on the outcome of WWII.

The V-2 didn't make much difference in the war, although it terrorized the hell out of London. Other than that, I think you've answered your own question. Write your own paper.
