hmm, I just finished taking the test on the book. YOu forgot PEARL!!!! Hester's daughter represents truth and is deliberately placed in the book in order to represent preternatural visions and truth of the world, while the adults from puritanical society are blind!!! Pearl also represents Hester's sin, ironically because she was born from a adulteress and she can represent the evil and innocent.

In Scarlet letter, written by... there are many examples of symbolism put to use.

To improve your essay: active voice and less "to be" verbs. Use passive voice when you want to speak obliquely.

It is said to err... is human .... to forgive ... divine , but to pseudo-brand someone forever is unforgivable....
