What is the significance of this symbology here in the United States? Can someone explain why we are taught that Naziism was bad, yet we are using the fasces symbol??

The symbol is the bundle of rods bound together around an ax with the blade projecting.
It's an emblem of authority first used by the Romans.
It was used as a symbol for the Nazi party, along with the swastika.
