I make gingerbread houses from scratch each year, so much cheaper than buying the kits. And everybody loves them (except my brother who doesn't like gingerbread).
I also bake fudge slices, wrapping nicely on an inexspencive Christmas plate. I use packet mix for this, quick and easy.
Fill mugs with hot chocolate making supplies, add chocolate dipped spoons and wrap nicely.

You could buy some thick colored paper (comes separate or in a pad) and make frames and put a photo of yourself or anything you want in the handmade frame.
Fold paper in 1/2 or 1/4 put a sharp clean slit in the front (or inside ) the folded paper) and slip a corner of the photo in the card.
You can decorate the frame with Christmas stick ons...or better still pretty stick ons, so they can be kept displayed all year.
Grandparents can never have enough photos.
Friends like photos of their friends too.

My very favorite gift to give that is quick and cheap is goodie bags. They can be anything from plain, colored celophane, cofee mugs, champagne glasses...anything that can hold a large handfull of items. Fill it with goodies...candy, homemade or store bought cookies, snack mix, chocolate covered pretzels....anything that can be cosidered a treat. Fill the container you have chosen to use with the goodies and wrap with pretty celophane and a bow. Just make sure to personalize it with a note. Also, be careful to consider any special dietary conditions such as diabetes.

i might attempt getting them gag form presents that easily have a purpose. Like extraordinary patterned band-aids or a humorous t-shirt. customize it to a minimum of a few thing they do and that they are going to savor it, and thinks that's humorous on each and every occasion they use/positioned on the present you acquire them!

How much is in your budget?
I am including links for instructions on making a no-sew fleece blanket. No sewing skills necessary. You need scissor and a ruler, basically.
Check it out.

Go to the fabric store, get remnants and make each of them an apron (guys for barbequing and ladies for cooking). You should be able to get cute material for very little. Or make them each a stocking with their name on it.
