Why is the media so heartless ?

I just saw the new cover of usmagazine.

It is sick. How can the editors be so cruel. Thats beyond celebrity gossip. Thats her personal life. Everyone has secrets, everyone screws up.
I mean just leave britney alone.

I could not agree with you more. That is the saddest thing about Britney I've read so far. It almost comes across as if they are laying the blame on her poor grandmother now!

I feel so bad for Britney at the moment and when I heard her new song "You Want a Piece of Me" I got a little teary eyed.

She is only 22 and has had sooooo much criticism in her life I sometimes wonder how she goes on.

TMZ used to be one of my favourite gossip sites until recently when they described life as a
"train wreck." I have not and will not visit that site again.

I will admit I love a good gossip magazine, but seriously they need to cut Britney some slack!

The media had to be given this information by someone, as well as the pictures of her when she was little. Often celebrities do this themselves in the hopes of furthering their careers. Once you become a celebrity unfortunately you give up your privacy. The fans want to know all about celebrities and royalty. I personally don't think there is anything more I would want to about Brittany or Federline, other than the fact that her children are being raised in a loving nurturing environment not by a couple of drug crazed immature celebrities. Personally I could care less about her.

If people didn't want to read/hear this stuff the media would be out of a job. Unfortunately, the public WANTS to digest this purulent trash in order to make themselves feel better.
Celebrities know that their lives are not private. Th very nature of their profession makes them public property. SHOULD they be afforded more privacy-absolutely. However, in this country, it is not realistic. If you can't handle the territory, get a job like everyone else.
Yes, everyone screws up, but most of us stop screwing up at some point. We learn from our mistakes. Ms. Brit doesn't seem to get it.
Britney Spears has made a whole empire out of screwing up. It has become her trademark. If people would stop paying attention to her antics she would stop. Just like the spoiled child she is.

I agree that it's heartless and that's her personal life.
But that is what being a celebrity is about, sadly, even though I don't agree with it.

It's stupid how much people care about other people's lives.

And unless it's a reliable source, who says it's true? WHERE did US magazine get that information from? It could be fake.

yes i do agree. she is responsible for her own life and she is at rock bottom but everyone is just kicking her while she is down. i do feel very bad for her and she needs some real help. all the fame really screwed her up and she needs to get back on her feet and take care of her kids. that cover is terrible

The stuff about her grandmother is no ones business. Some of the other things are justifiable as they are trying to explain why she is screwed up rather than just saying she's horrid for no reason. Most of it is probably untrue and that's when it becomes un-necessary.

i totally agree, i think that they should just leave her alone. The media is constantly picking in her. I'm sick of hearing abou it to be honest. Everyone makes mistakes. Who cares?

i know how rude! but it is seen as entertainment in some peoples eyes if you think about the sick minded ppl out there.
