My sister and I both read them several times. I have the full set, well worn and loved for many years. Just interested to hear if anyone else grew up with these books?

Yes, and I'm reading them to my 7-year-old daughter now! One chapter a night, and we're about halfway through "The Red Trailer Mystery."

Did you know they are currently being reprinted in hardcover with colorful, modern covers? I'm trying to buy new ones because my old childhood (paperback) copies are worn out.

I read and reread (and reread) all of the "Trixie Belden" books as a child. I remember thinking that the main character was very well developed from the get-go, and I loved "watching" her unravel the mystery that was the basic plot of each book!

I remember one summer my sister and I found all my mom's old stuff from when she was growing up. My sis went straight for the original Barbie dolls, and I went straight for the Trixie Beldens.

I remember those books...saw a website....www.trixe-belden.com and www. randomhouse.com/kids/trixiebelden, sure brought back memories. I loved Nancy Drew too.
