Exaclty right.
The pro-choice's argument is based on "it's a woman's body", but a baby is NOT a "woman's body"
A woman does not impregnate herself. So it's not her body.
Pretty simple.

This sort of question conflates two very seperate issues: despite the many people who attempt to do so, abortion and child support are *not* comparable. Abortion is about a woman's right to choose what does or does not happen to her body. Contrary to what some people might think, the choice to not be financially responsible for your offspring is not really comparable.
The arguments for or against these two issues simply aren't the same, and it's a disservice to *both* issues to pretend that they are. If you're adovocating for opt-out measures, attacking abortion rights is the completely wrong way to do it.
The implication is that the right to control your pocketbook is the same as the right to control what happens to your body, and that's... well... stupid.
It'd be much better to talk about child support as an issue unto itself. The justification for why we have child support is tied into public interest- there's a compelling public interest in making sure that children are taken care of and are given the financial support needed to turn into reasonably healthy adults. Unfortunately, there isn't a wide social network that supplies financial support to children, so it falls on the biological parents to do so. If you think that this is unfair, you need to come up with another solution. Simply saying "Well, I don't want children" isn't enough.

first of all its not the kids fault.that being said it the double standard women live by. they can change their mind, if you do its lying. i didn't make this baby alone, yet but you forgot to tell me you quit taking the pill. knew plenty of girls in college that did not want children and never did, they were responsible. women have always been in charge. how many guys are in prison for killing some guy who was with the wife/girlfriend. that women is still getting her groove on. i never did understand that one. get someone else if she is a ho. the smart ones have kids one from 3 different dads that way they get 20% from each, instead of 20% +5%+5 % if it is the same guy. its basically the classic double standard. it is an expensive mistake and the courts do not give justice. chances are she's moved on and has another paycheck/man. why should we pay them for money they go shopping with. it's bogus, especially if they play visitation games. and we are criminals if we can't keep up or lose our jobs. there are more deadbeat moms than dads but all you hear about is the men. double standards!!!!

A child is the result of the union of TWO people. As for the father having a say, let's get back to the equality issue. You think that you should have the right to force someone to have an invasive, traumatic surgery because you say so?
You have no idea how painfull both physically and emotionally an abortion is, otherwise you wouldn't think for a second that it should be your right to force that on someone else.

I think you have a great point if a dad wants the child that should bar the woman from having an abortion.I do think there would need to be mediator service to insure the "adults" weren't just using either choices as a way to harass or abuse the other. However being pro life I say everybody should just stay up right and keep their parts to them selves unless they want a baby.

No clue my ex-killed (2) two I suppose it was her form of birth control, I bought her a house and ring, she said she wanted to get married and have another kid.
The reason she did not get pregnant b4 me was she was using illegal drugs "I didn't know this at the time" as a result if she ever was to get pregnant b4 me the baby would have od'd and died in her.
Anyway I lost my mind of course it didn't help that when I got medicine she mixed it and told me what to say to get more medicine so she could later steal it.
She wrote about it in her blog attamped murder, she wrote it would look like a Self termination.
Sweet huh I didn't even have control over my own body.

If he is willing to take the fetus into his body and grow it there then he can have a say. Women are full people and will continue to be allowed their right to "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" (US Constitution).
Unless you want to move to Nicaragawa. There, abortion is outlawed in all cases and women are dying because they have no access to healthcare irregardless if they miscarrage, have a tubal PG, are bleeding, or have a back alley butcher.

Because one is a baby. The other is an abortion. If you confuse the two issues, then you don't deserve to have a say in a woman's body, period. Do I get to tell you to have your tubes tied?
