Healthy ladies wouldn't never understand but its a struggle when u have pcos and not knowing if you'll be able to concieve, its hurtin me daily knowing that I have to wake up another day and seeing new pregnant faces around me, I Have been trying for so many years and not able to conceive, I mean we have to struggle with not being able to conceive without all the medication, we have to suffer from depression because of acne, skin tags, facail hair etc, Having pcos means we need to have a high paying job, I mean all of my pay checks mostly goes to trying to keep myself healthy as possible because the pcos can lead you to type 2 diabetes, heart cancer, blood clots etc, are life is like totally not fair, I can't enjoy my money because I have to buy metformin in order to keep my hormones level so I can have a monthly cycle if we don't have a monthly cycle we can easily catch cervical cancer, I mean this diease is at high risk with almost every thing.

i am 20 and have PCOS, as well. i completely understand how you feel. my boyfriend and i were ttc and all of my friends and family were actually conceiving. it was heartbreaking. but i had surgery to remove the cysts from my ovaries, and conceived 3 months later. i recently gave birth to a beautiful 1 lb 13 oz baby. my hormones only allowed me to carry her for 26 weeks.

Hi there, I too have pcos. And have been taking metformin for a year and clomid for 9 months. I can totally relate to how you are feeling. It seems that everyone around me is getting pregnant and having babies. And now that i've been married for a couple of years the "so when are you having a baby?" questions are everywhere. Yes, it can be expensive. Just the clomid, metformin, and the pre-pregnancy vitamins im taking cost me about $70 AUD a month, plus visits to the gyno every month! I dont think it has made me feel that life is unfair though, and I think it is important for us to think positive (hard, I know) but getting depressed just makes it worse. At least you know that you are not alone and there are alot of women out there in the same boat. I am trying to stay positive and eat healthy and excercise every day, and hopefully we all will be blessed with a healthy baby.
***Good luck and baby dust to all***

Ok let me start off by saying that it IS possible to preggo with PCOS. And metformin is not a hormone drug. When I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 19. I thought I never would be a preggo. I took metformin for a while to regulate my period. I had no period for almost 2 years. Like 1 or 2 in a 2 year period. Once I started my period and it started to come regularly(sep 06) . I was put on clomid(oct 06). Did not ovulate. I missed Nov 06. But Dec 06, I was put on 100mg. And I conceived my baby girl!!! So don't give up trying, and at the same time have FUN trying. PCOS is a challenge for us but we'll get there eventually.

Good Luck!! And Baby Dust!!!

I don't personally suffer from PCOS - but I do have a hormone imbalance and feel lethargic and unhealthy despite all of my efforts to exercise, eat properly and see natural health care people - so frustrating!
I do however know a girl who was diagnosed with PCOS and through the help of NaPro (a natural fertility organization) conceived within a year of treatment - and carried to term. She's now pregnant with her second baby! So there is hope.

Hey it is ood to hear from people that share the same thing because when you are in a situation like this meaning have PCOS, you feel like you are alone. I am 28 yrs old with PCOS. I have been ttc for 8yrs. I just recently found out I have PCOS in March it took doctors that long to figure that out. But I am still hopeful even though I see ladies having babies they don't want. I know our time is coming soon. Good luck.

I am 22 with PCOS. We've been TTC our first child for 27 months. Every month I feel like a complete failure. It's heartbreaking, but I take comfort in knowing that when the time is right, we will be great parents.
