That is an easy one - pretty much everyone agrees that Rossi boards are better than Salomon (also better are Ride, K2, Burton, Lib Tech, etc).

It may be that your K2 is an older model? I have a K2 board that is very light and has very little flex - it is an amazing board. Their boards stand up to a lot of use and abuse and everyone I know that owns one says they are good boards.

I have never owned a Salomon, but they don't have the reputaion of a high end quality board.

Good Luck

as much as i want to say salomon im gonna go with rossingol. i dont like rossignol though cause i think they shouldnt be invading snowboard they need to just stick to skis. if you want a light weight board go with gnu
