I had one shortly after I gave birth last year. No headache though, just this zigzag pattern before my eyes for a couple of minutes. Scary experience.

It's normal (and many would say you're lucky) to have had only one migraine. I get one a year - and never at the same time of year.

It is possible to have only one migraine attack, but that doesn't sound like a migraine since there was no headache. I think it's more likely that you hyperventilated while giving birth. This can lower your blood CO2 temporarily. It's harmless but can do funny things to your body. One of them is this zigzag pattern that you describe. You could also have got tingling or numbness or lightheadedness.

I had one migraine, one time after weeks of seeing weird TV patterns in the side of my eye. (It was also following a very stressful period and then carrying heavy suitcases several miles). It felt like people hitting my head with sledge hammers. It never happened again, thank God.

There are migraines that are HORMONE based.

That sounds like what you had.

I had migraines for 30 years and the day I had my total hysterectomy, they stopped.
