What kind of shoes would you wear with a sweater dress?

Some wedges or kitten heels. Pumps with thicker heels, too thin looks unbalanced with sweater dresses.

Black knee high boots if I was going on a date. Going out with family a nice pair of heels. I would not wear flats because it will make you look short with this dress. Basically anything with heels would work.

Black knee boots or cute Uggs. No ankle boots or ballet flats. A dress like that need something to show it off more.

That is a cute dress! I would go with boots. Go with knee high or a little shorter... Don't do thigh high as they might look a little . . . um . . . inappropriate. (I didn't want to cus)

Another thing you could do is have black stockings, red close toed shows and other red accessories - like jewelery or a scarf. Look at the last pic I posted for an example.

Make sure you add a splash of color, that way you don't look so gloomy or goth.

Flat boots are really cute (and really "in"). Otherwise, ballet flats and heels look good.
