Make sure I know what the law is that governs such things, or save myself the legal fee and just tell them they made a mistake, they will find it and they won't let you keep it and if you've already spent it they can go to court to recover their loss. Even if its totally their fault.

I should ask the bank but in another case, someone may have put it there on purpose... Check with other people and see if they have deposited it there on purpose.

I would call the bank to let them know there was a mistake. They would probably reverse it sometime anyway, there would be no need for me to get attached to that money.

contact the bank. Normally they would go back through and find it and pull it back out eventually if it was not your anyhow. So I would see the back up for who it came from and make sure it was truely supposed to come to me.

Contact the bank....what other choice do you have....even if its a mistake...they will find it sooner than later and will expect the money back
