Hi all!
I am currently under a doctor's care, but wanted another opinion.

My last period was on October 31st. it was definitely a period (5 days w/ clots and on time), "normal" compared to my standard extremely heavy, black 6-7 day periods. It kind of freaked me out because i had had sex using the withdrawal method around ovulation. so about a week after this lighter period ended i woke up all of a sudden in the middle of the night with swollen breasts.. and over the course of the next few days developed this crazy constipation/gas/abdominal pain..and of course, being the obsessive person i am freaked out thinking i was pregnant. i took a urine HPT 9 days, 16 days, and 20 days after the first day of my period, all negative. I had a blood test done at 14 days past the first day which was negative also. however i tested positive for bacteria in my vagina that i need an antibiotic for. So, if all these tests are negative, what do you think could be wrong with my breasts/abdomen?

i had an 102 degree fever when i went to the doctors'

i am also 3 weeks past the first day of my "missed" period, there is no possible way i would've gotten pregnant during THIS cycle.

also it would be greatly appreciated if all comments to the effect of "you're stupid, use a condom" would be refrained from being used. i understand i made a mistake...i'm human. you don't need to point that out...thanks :)

If you had a blood test and received antibiotics, that sounds like you have been to a doctor. I think this question is something you should bring up with your doctor. Generally, breast tenderness is caused by a shift in hormones and the gas and bloating could be caused by anything from a change in diet to stress, but it is always a good idea to have your doctor check you out to make sure it isn't anything more serious.

Well you are not pregant that is sure. You are also playing russion roulette by having unprotected sex, especially if you are so obsessive. Bacteria in your vagina for which you need antibiotics are also called sexually transmitted diseases, you get them by having unprotected sex. These diseases alone could lead to belly-ache but usually do not. The cramps in the stomach could be 1000s of other things, most harmless, some serious. Your breasts react to hormone levels in your body, anything which upsets this can result in a different feeling in the breasts.

i had a UTI(urinary track infection) and a bladdar infection. My uti hurt my abdominals and chest so much!! you have no idea like they hurt so so so so much...and when you have bacteria in you vagina than you definitly have a UTI. I had it and mine was so bad that i had to be hospitalized. Good thing you went to the doctors.. Just take the medication and drink lots and lots of fluides.....Everything will definitly get better. It is completely normal to have these pains when you have a UTI.

Sometimes pregnancy tests can be negative if its before your period is due. Also if you really don't want to get pregnant please don't use the withdrawal method as it is a very unreliable method of contraception. there can be sperm present in pre ejaculate so be more careful if you don't want a baby yet

I have no answer to your question.

But WITHDRAWAL is not a form of birth control. So if that is the only method you use, get the baby room ready.
