Damn big Sexy, i wouldn't though u lived here if i didn't know any better..but i would say A hot dog from a vendor, or fresh roasted nuts from a vendor, yellow cabs, the hustle and bustle, public transportation (trains, buses), times square, shopping in the village, diversity (black, white, hispanic, indian, asain, etc) a good slice of pizza or a nice fresh bagel, and every new yorker had a little dog and a cup of starbucks on hand and we tend to have good fashion sense...lol..damn, I LOVE THIS CITY!!!

I can only imagine a Chicago state of mind. I'd have to live in New York to experience that state.

damn, Fabey Jay, I'ma just have to add onto yours without repeating:
a cup of coffee off the coffee truck
Duane Reade (everywhere you go Duane Reade)
a smoke ride on the Westside Highway at night
China Club (I can't take the crowd anymore, I'm too old now, but it's a signature club)
Queens trains PACKED on night the Mets are playing home
Thanksgiving (we are infamous for our parade)
a stroll down 5th Ave or Madison
Buses PACKED to the doors
...
