6 months starts at 24 weeks. If you look at it like this - a pregnancy is 40 weeks or 10 X 4 week months so 6 of these months is 6X4=24 weeks.
7months = 28 weeks
8months = 32 weeks
9 months = 36 weeks
10 months = 40 weeks
Hope that this helps

it reallly depends on how you prefer to count! there's the 4wks=a month way (which makes for a 10 month pregnancy--that would make 6 months start at 24 wks)

or, there's the way that i prefer, personally (and the way my ob told me)... at your due date you will me 9 months pregnant. so, count back each month to figure out when each starts. example: i'm due Feb 24th, so Jan 24th i'd be 8 months, Dec 24th i'll be 7 months, and Nov 24th i'll be 6 months!! (if you use this method & count back it is pretty close--though it counts more from conception than the "week" measurements)

I think it is based on 28 day months, which would be ..... 6 X4=24wks. so the 6th month would start @ end of 20 weeks. Forgive me if I am wrong.............

That would mean 5 months have passed @ 30 days each.
So 150 days or 21 weeks roughly.
