maybe its because youir period is coming on.
i have days where I am ok when i wake up but then i get sleepy and sad for no reason, just feeling down, and i wanna cry but i cant ever pinpoint WHY.
My aunt gets like that too. I think sometimes it just comes with being a female. The feelings dont last. sometimes ill cry and feel so much better afterwards.

Oh, God, I hate that feeling! I get it all the time and it really just sucks. Chances are it is hormonal- if you are just about to start or are on your period, your estrogen and progesterone levels are really low, which puts you in a pretty low mood. I am pretty sure that these moods happen to most women (everyone I've ever talked to about it has had the same issue) and the only known cure for this is an economy-sized tub of ice-cream, a steaming-hot bath, and a good movie. (And hey- if you do feel like crying, make like nike and just do it! you'll feel better if you do.)

The ten days before your period, the week of and the few days after that, your hormones shift to help your body do the job of preparing for the possibility of impregnation. This can result in emotional shifts too.

Mark your calendar this month the first day you experience the changes, and how long it lasts. Do this every month until your next doctor appointment. Jot down any notes, such as crying, sleeping too much, not being able to sleep, change in appetite. Take your notes with you to your doctor and ask if it seems within the normal range.

Pay attention to how much caffeine you have in your diet, as it can greatly influence your emotional state.

Could be to do with the long dark winter nights drawing in l always feel blah for no reason during the winter months it is a condition called SAD - honest not joking although l can see why they call it that, it is something to do with not getting enough sunlight /daylight during winter you can apparently buy a lamp that gives you artificial sunlight that is suppose to make you feel ok. haven't got one myself though l would not have time to use it. Hope you stop feeling Blah soon

yes ma'am. that happens sometimes and then my period comes and i'm like "oh".. but sometimes that doesn't explain it.. just a random time.. i suggest you listen to some upbeat music and dance! :) such as mary j blige: just fine... i can't feel bad listening to that despite just going through a break up! haha. also a lack of exercise can make you feel BLAH.. so dancing will help. :) good luck! ...watching scrubs makes me feel better too. :)

i have and it is just something where you want to be alone but then again you don't because you want someone there to comfort you. Ihave been there and i have just cried at night when no one knows. I think it was just my emotions messing with me b/c I was about to start my period then too. Everything will turn out fine. Just let it out.

Yes, I've definitely felt that way. I'm sure we all have. It could be happening to you for any number of reasons, your period included. Are you very bored, overworked, or stressed?

Hormones, depression, anxiety...could be a lot of things. As for me I am feeling quite depressed today as well. So I can sympathize. Keep your chin up!
