What's the point of passing anti-terror legislation when they don't work?

They seem to work against innocent people. Just because there hasn't been a terror attack since 9/11 doesn't mean they work, otherwise we wouldn't have top neocons on tv saying "it's not a matter of if but when" or" we will be hit before the end of the year."

Mr. Smartypants, In some cases, they were innocent people. But they have arrested some that would have been a threat. And I agree with you about neocon's and other anti American. Going on TV and bashing a cause that could one day. Take their own lives and lives of others.

Basically admitting that a terror attack is inevitable tends to defeat the purpose of initiating preventative measures in the first place. Now we know who the real defeatists are.

How many Americans in America have been killed by terrorists since 9/11? Probably less than 20, and they were killed by single fanatics, not terrorist groups. Your argument makes no sense. Since the laws against using illegal drugs are routinely violated, should we repeal all laws that prohibit their use? Since the number of rapes will remain high, should we now make rape legal?

We need tough laws against terrorism to protect our people from a very determined enemy, radical Islamists. They won't stop until they are dead.

Conservatives say things like that because sick terrorist sympathizers like you, will one day aid in a terror attack against the US. I would even go as far as to say that there are some liberals now assisting Islamo-fascist as we speak.
