Yes, someone may be harrassing you or trolls may be reporting your Q&A's for no reason.

I didn't think so until I read some of the answers here which make sense. Perhaps we need to come up with a way to protect from trolls and still have those question and answers available to those who have good reason to look at them. for example, I have answered questions which made me think I could perhaps offer more help or advice to a person by knowing more of a continuing problem ans so I go to look at previous questions they have asked to get to know more about them and in that case, the fact I can not see those means that I am limited to answer only what they have in a current question without a back ground to go with it.

I made my Profile private because I read the Answers Suggestions Boards before I used this site, - I found out what trolls are, that there are internet stalkers, and that people get reported for no reason by trolls who track their Qs and As.

I cant think of one really because some have been suppended with private questions & answers etc
so thats probably the only reason to do it!
some just plain may not like others to read their answers
but i could not give a fig or damn who reads mine
as a matter of fact i like to read others answers etc to see if i like them & if i will connect to them! :) xx

How about people who "stalk you" and "your contacts" for that matter ? Or people who make a "rude and vulgar" remark about your mother ? I did it because of those reason I mentioned and hey, guess what, they (the trolls) stopped with those remarks! There is a reason for everything, trust me!
And now, the trolls will thumb down my answer....just watch it!

Mine were not always private until I seen this one user on here constantly putting everyone else down and being vulgar...also this same person was trolling other peoples accounts and mine too.

I think people who do that have been victims of trolling. They don't want to be followed around from Q to Q as easily.

because some people like stalking your questions, and if they don't like one of your answers they go in your profile and go back and look at your past answers and report all of them. i keep mine private because of the level of immaturity on here

I should have. My daughter followed my answers to my 360 and found my Sweetiepie.
Mama doesn't allow me to have a Sweetiepie.
