Most areas have local places where you can go. I go to Actor's Garage - they have a lot of those every where. Search the town where you live and acting places I'm sure there are some. If you want to be an actress you have to start somewhere and most classes will have agents come. (Cool, right?) Good luck with your acting!

The real answer is none. TO be an actress you have to be acting. So just tryout for the school plays and if you get in one, you are an actress. Voila!

dance class helps
also get very active with the Drama Department and do extra work for them volunteer for every school play and when you graduate you need to go to a collage that's well known for performing art and work summer stock during the summers keep a look out for short parts as nothing is below you.
one thing you should do though is you should plan a second career as just in sports every sucessful person there a thousand peope that failed

Look for classes at you local community theaters... also look at local agencies. But some agencies are scams ... even their classes, so be weary. Community theaters are your safest bet. You can never be too experienced for a class... an actor is always learning, changing, and observing.
