I have a pair of Reeboks that are worn out. Can I just toss 'em? Practical suggestions please.

Simple answer.

Still wearable= go to your local recycling center.look around for a bin that might say,"REUSE-A-SHOE"

Not wearable= toss 'em

I second Lynda. Goodwill and SA don't want people's warn out junk. Toss 'em in the trash.

If they are worn right out toss em.. or donate to Goodwill or shelters if they can still be worn...

There are companies that recycle them by chopping them up and reusing the materials in other things.

Try checking the Reebok site and see if they do it.

Yes if they are to bad to take down to your local salvos or op shop then they should go into the bin

Throw them away if it not in good condition. Goodwill's monthly waste disposal bill is unnecessarily high because we sometimes give stuff away that we should dispose of ourselves.
