If it wasn't for those Kurds from northern Iraq begging Bush to help them topple Saddam, ... =And Bush just couldn't wait for them to ask. Now was the time for action. The Kurds in northern Iraq where all the oil is. And the people who executed Saddam where the Shi'ia. The Shi'ia are from IRAN. They hate the Sunni's, Saddam was a Sunni leader. You know, just like democrats and republics in America. I wonder, are the democrats a grave threat ? Politics.

No, possibly that is because of fact at that factor (February of 2001), Saddam did not pose a threat to u.s.. it quite is probable that it wasn't till after the Jihadist assault of u.s. that the U. S. clearly felt threatened via any Muslim usa. We had an even bigger military, why might we sense a threat? That replaced into actual--good up till we've been attacked. At that factor, we found out that it wasn't a militia we could consistently be frightened of. we could consistently worry Islamic fanatacism. Iraq replaced into no threat whilst George Bush took place of work. It became a threat whilst it refused to permit UN inspectors to be certain regardless of if or not they did (or did not) have weapons of mass destruction that they have got been (or weren't) giving to Jihadists. whilst they right away adverse inspections via a worldwide inspection group--that is whilst they became threatening. that did not ensue till 2002. possibly you do not bear in strategies. the worldwide replaced on 9-11, 2001. Our threats replaced with it.

It's so funny watching the liberals stumble all over themselves as they worship Saddam. I notice so many of them say that he was no threat to the US even though he threatened us almost on a weekly basis. He had the means and the ability to pay someone to deliver a dirty bomb or chemical weapons to America. There are many people who would have brought those chemical weapons to America and set them off and they could have done it legally. The liberals on this board are such sheep. They should move to Iraq and live if they don't think he was a threat to Americans.

It wasn't because he was a "grave threat," it was because of all the atrocities that occurred under his power. He was executed, and some would argue rightfully so. However, you must consider that the killing of overthrown leaders is almost always the case in Arab countries. It was a revolution.

If you think Saddam was not a threat, you need to do a little more research.
Then, too, you may have forgotten that little fact that he was responsible for the deaths of an estimated 125 men, women and children every single day of his regime. That tend to earn a fellow a trip to the end of a rope in almost any country.

The Iraqi people had every right to hate Saddam and want to see him hang, but what does that have to do with the United States? Are we to invade every nation with a repressive leader (ironically, while becoming less free ourselves) He was of no grave threat to us. His own people, now that's another story, but the fact that America was supporting Saddam during the majority of his atrocities is sufficient to make you look like the tool you clearly are. Otherwise you wouldn't be supporting Mr. Military Industrial complex himself for president. Thanks for the points.

He was in CIA payroll back in the 50's, he was informed off the all US dirty secrets , specially bush, cheney and rumsfeld. That was the only threat ?! He was quickly trialed and executed by the puppet Iraqi Gov. and no independent reporter was allowed to interview him in jail.
And that's a fact, Jack ?!

He was a threat to the people of Iraq, not to US citizens. The phony war was pushed by W. Bush at the urging of the neo-cons who controlled the Bush administration. Drop this issue, pal, you have lost on this one. Use the illegal alien invasion issue to club down the traitorous Dimocrats; we can't win the election on the Iraq invasion. On to the 2008 elections!
