I thought that John Inge was just awesome when he told Skye the story of how he had meet Old Joe Kennedy and compared the family curses. My heart broke for Edward. And I thought that Monica was AWESOME for Calling a Spade a Spade and letting Jason know He is Nothing but a KILLER. Awesome. It is about time the other characters on GH stopped excusing Sonny and Jason for the havoc they bring down on the families

Jason and Sonny bring a lot of violence into the lives of thier familes and AZ would have never been out there at the ball, if not for Jason and Sonny. Now while AZ may not have killed Emily, he did make a bad stituation worse. If people were not so intent on AZ then perhaps Emily's killer would have been stopped.

The mob drama is a bore and it keeps showing the wrong people to be heroes. Once again it is Jason to the rescue at the end stopping AZ...Why not Mac or Cooper or Lucky or the new cop or any member of the PCPD?

Once again, you and I are definitely on the same wavelength. I haven't seen GH in a while, but I'm kind of sad I missed Monica's long-awaited smackdown of her middle child. I've always hated that she's supported him while vilifying AJ -- being an alcoholic is nothing compared to being a hired killer.

Great question !! Once again Tommy G, you are right on the mark and ahead of the curve. I was gonna post a similar observation about those scenes with Edward and Skye, and Monica and Jason. I would also like to offer a toast to how wonderful those two actors are. It's such a shame that we see so little of them. No one but John Inge could have pulled that analogy about the Kennedys off the way he did. I re-ran my tape a few times to watch it again. Skye was also exceptional in that scene.

In the scene with Edward and Skye, I was so grateful that they kept the damn annoying backround music out of the scene so that we actually got to hear Edward speak in that wonderful "stage" voice. In all the previous scenes, even with Nicholas crying over Emily's body, that incessant music is drowning out the dialog. When Alexis went to see Rick in the ER, I could hardly make out what he was saying.

When Monica threw Jason out screaming Killer at him, it took my breath away, and by the way Jason looked, there's gonna be an end to Jason's "golden boy" status with the Quartermaines, and he knows it. She forbids him to attend the funeral. How about that !!!
All in all, those two scenes, Edward and Monica, was the best writing in I don't know how many weeks. I am so glad that "never ending" ball is over. The scenes afterwards are all much, much better than that whole "maniac in the castle" ala Agatha Christie storyline.

First things first. Eward told the tale of meeting Joseph Kennedy while he was at colloege. How he gained some much as he lost his kids to war while he still gained so much. How his grandkids didnt really fair as much as his kids. They always blame Sonny and Jason for what happens to their families or other families. Nobody ever takes blame for what happens and always shift the blame there way. Not every evil person is Sonny and Jason's fault. They just blame them because its so easy for them to blame. Monica didnt take this much pain whenshe found AJ kidnapped Sonny's kids. And had the nerve to return like nothing happened. Ever family should look in their own yard to see what happens. Dont always blame Sonny and Jason for what happens in Port Charles. When the PC cops cant and wont listen they always tell Sonny and Jason to let them do there jobs. No wonder the cops aint worth a hill of beans.

John Ingle is always amazing. He was a good choice for a replacement when David Lewis, the original Edward passed away. A lot of times a recast just doesn't work but this is one time it did. He is so funny when it calls for him to be a brilliant at the serious stuff as well. I felt so bad for Monica, you knows she has always loved Jason and it just broke my heart but she was right.

I thought the scene with Edward and Skye was great, great dialog. I understand that Monica is heartbroken but that doesn't give her the right to blame Jason for Emily's death. He's not the one who strangled her. I knew she would blame Sonny and Jason, that's one thing I can't stand about the Quartermaines. Everytime someone in their family dies they blame Sonny and Jason. I understand that Sonny and Jason are criminals but they still cannot be blamed everytime a tragedy takes place. I happen to love GH's mob drama.

Stunning; he is a wonderful actor. I love Monica...I can't believe they wrote her finding out about Emily that way. They ruin everything. She should have fallen apart before she yelled at Jason.

I missed the scene where Emily died...can you tell me how she went??

I disagree about Jason. He did not kill Emily and was not responsible. Why would she blame him? Not even Sonny could be blamed because Anthony didn't leave his house for Sonny, he left to go after Lulu. So if anyone is to blame it's her and Johnny!! Lulu should have never got in the car with Johnny and Johnny should have never picked her up! So if we are going to lay blame, it makes a little more sense to blame them. Or here is an idea. How about blaming the person WHO ACTUALLY KILLED HER!! Gee there's a thought!! hmmm........
