If it has only happened the once ( last night ) maybe he was tired or stressed or affected by alcohol etc
If it happens again regularly he may need to see a doctor about it

he's definitely got to lay of the self abuse. If he's got the real deal, perhaps it's an intimacy issue. 3 times a day is not "normal" plus the action. That's a lot of time spent doing sex acts, perhaps he should go to the gym instead to vent his stress and then come back and spend quality time with his lover of choice, preferably not his hand.

Is he diabetic or have high blood pressure?Even young people can have ED due to this problem.
