the other morning i was watching one of those Sat. early shows and the elephants (real elephants) were swimming, i mean they were swimming as fast as the boat the guy was in.!! it was crazy, the things you watch when children are around.

Yes, on a t.v. program, with the cameraman swimming below the elephants. It was great, nearly mystical, and I wanted it to be replayed!

Yeah... Rosie O'Donnell was swimming in the East River this past summer..... You should have seen the oil slick she left after she got out .... not to mention the smell.

Yes! Where there is water, there is usually an elephant swimming nearby. And usually, they are colored "pink"!

If I have, on TV, I don't remember it. But I was surprised to see sloths swim. I didn't know they could swim that fast.

probably on the discovery channle or animal planet, or was that a hippo? anyway elephants can do anything BUT jump - little known fact :)

yes,on animal planet,they can really swim! as biig and clumsy as they are,the water makes them lighter so its easier for them to tread water.
