I have a G E XL44 gas oven. Recently it has not been able to reach heat of 400 degrees, it barely reaches 300. Every thing else is functioning fine. I took out the bottom today, set it to 400 degrees and when i opened the door to check on it, the flame just went out. It seems to function only when it wants to. Any suggestions?

Check out this site:
http://www.repairclinic.com/

There is a repair help section that you can click on that will help you troubleshoot based on the symptoms of your appliance. The site will also help you find the parts you need.

I've found the site very helpful on a couple of occasions. I've been able to repair my oven and my dryer without a service call.

Call a serviceman to come to your house and check it out. Your gas company should be able to do this. Gas appliances are not to be fooled around with by untrained personnel. It could be a simple matter of adjusting airflow, or it may be more complex than that. Don't attempt repairs/adjustments yourself.

Almighty God Jehovah had all the animals on the ark act peacefully towards one another. They could not have acted as they do in the wild. The bible does not say, but even if there were fleas, they would not have been allowed to itch. No harm of any sort, not even annoyance, would have been allowed. Noah could not do this...But God could. It is a forerunner of what the earth will be like in the future. Isaiah 65; 25 “The wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as one, and the lion will eat straw just like the bull; and as for the serpent, his food will be dust. They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain,” Jehovah has said.

Call a genuine repairman. You've screwed something up and if you don't know how to repair gas lines, you'll just make it worse -- or burn the house down.

dont make any repairs until the main gas line is turned off and the pilot light is out.

unplug the quick connection on the oven sensor and make sure their is no corrosion in there, plug it back in and see if it starts working right.
