Don't worry. The first couple of years a girl gets it, it's irregular. Sometimes, you won't have it for 3 months, and other times, you'll have it twice in a month. Like this year, I had it in the first week of June, and I didn't get it until the end of August. There's nothing wrong with you. Another thing is that skinny people tend to have irregular periods, meaning you'll never know when the next one will be.

I do not know how old you are, but suspect that you are very young and only beginning to menstruate. It is not unusual to take some time for periods to establish a regular pattern in the beginning. If the irregularity persists or is accompanied by heavy bleeding, I would consult a family doctor. Good luck!

Some people experience an extra period due to stress. Have you been under a lot of stress?
If your periods have always been irregular, this may be normal for your body.
Nobody here can diagnose your problem. If you are that worried, make an appointment with an OBGYN.

Could just be change in activity, stress levels changing, or many other things. But I would def have my Thyroid checked. A lot of women with high or low thyroid miss periods or have them nonstop for a month or two. So I would have that checked just to rule it out even. If its borderline low I would have the dr prescibe the lowest dose of Synthroid possible. Also if your thyroid is low you could possibly be having mood swings, fatigue & depression.

You should really talk to your doctor about it. It could be a lot of things. Stress, a lighter period prior or even fibroids (don't worry they're very common) Not in 19 yr. olds but common.
You may need a sonogram to look further into the situation.

I'm assuming you are haven't been having periods for too long. Periods can be irregular sometimes and its just the bodies biological rhythm being slightly out of sync to be honest. Keep a diary of when you have periods and if they continue to become really irregular then i would suggest maybe taking a trip to your doctors if its worrying you. Its just perfectly normal for periods to be irregular- especially when you first start them! Believe me!

when did youu start getting your period?
((your age.))
because if it was less than a year ago,
it's normal to be irregular,
because your body is adjusting.
if not,
youu could be having the sma eproblem i did.
i went to myy doctor,
&&she prescribed birth control for me,
so there's an option for youu.
youu miight also want your doctor
to check&&make sure that there isn't anything else going on,
anything more serious.
the basis of myy advise is to go to your doctor.
only they know what's really happening,
&&what to do about it.

but if you have had it for a while you should go to a doctor and consider going on the pill to make it regular.

I guess you are under 18, at your age it is very normal to be irregular till you´re 18, if you are very concerned you can go with your doctor and he might give you bc pills, to regulate your period.
Good luck! ;D
