It means, your argument or opinion. Since you're asking that, I'm assuming you're writing a persuasive essay. So , in order to state out your argument, you either oppose it or support it. For instance, say someone likes a certain car and they think it's very efficient, then they support it. However, say that someone thinks the same car produces more pollution and has less gas mileage, then they oppose it.
