What would be the point.

To get a war started

The total control of a Nation through fear

Assume and take control of all political powers needed to take over a Nation and invalidate their freedom and Constitutional values

What is the purpose of staging and killing your own people if it is not for greed and power?

Anyone have any answers

Just because you can't force the planners of these acts to testify under oath doesn't mean these events were not staged - there is plenty of evidence to prove it, the fact that the evidence is ignored by those same powers that created the staged events and the paid lying Main Stream Media does not make the evidence any less valid!

You hit the nail right on the head.

To control a nation through fear.

Greed and power are what fuel this nation and until we, the people, stand up; nothing is going to change.

Well, the point of killing people, in general, is that when you're done, certain people of your choosing are no longer alive. This can be a great benefit to society, and is an option often rashly dismissed out of hand.

Staging events is a more nuanced question, because there are really two kinds of events you can stage. First, you can stage an actual event, something that physically happens - this is extraordinarily difficult, since it requires the collusion of others, often in large numbers, and unavoidably leaves physical evidence of what actually happened. Alternately, you can stage a media event - that is, orchestrate or 'spin' a mass reaction to a real event, fear, issue, policy or whatever - this can require nothing more than starting a rumor, and is quite easy to pull off, as such things can take on a life of thier own.

Take one of your examples, the Gulf of Tonkin incident. It was actually two sepparate incidents, one a genuine attack, one more likely the result of panicky defenders. Neither was all that serious. But, the incident was blown up into a media event by the Johnson administration to get the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution passed, and, the second 'false alarm' attack was even spun by the North Vietnamese, as a military victory over the US, that is still celebrated anually.

The Kennedy assassination is another good example. It was a real event, but, many years later, it became a second media event with the release of a successful conspiracy-theory film.

This is hypothetical because there is no undisputed proof that any or all of these incidents were staged. That said, I'll try to answer you. The incidents are not all the same.
9-11: Enabled the patriot act. led to the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Stimulated profits in the defense industry.
Oklahoma Bombing: Enabled the anti-terrorism act. destroyed evidence connected with
Waco Texas: legitimized attacking small religious groups and created anti 2nd amendment sentiment. Eroded constitutional freedoms.
Gulf of Tonkin: Enabled full scale war in Vietnam and stimulated profits in the defense industry.
The attack on the U.S.S Cole and the Bali Bombing had minimal effect on united states policy or legislation.
The Kennedy Assassination killed Kennedy who was possibly problematic to the intelligence community.

My beliefs. The gulf of Tonkin incident was staged to allow a justification to begin full scale war in Vietnam. The Oklahoma City bombing of the Federal building is suspicious but not enough evidence is available to prove it was staged. 9-11 is suspicious and far too much evidence is available for far too many conflicting theories. The result is a confusion of facts so wide spread that it simply cannot ever be straightened out. That takes a level of genius that is just plain scary. The Cole and Bali were genuine attacks, Waco was a genuine screw-up that may have required Oklahoma City to save someones bacon. Kennedy was killed because he ticked someone off. Have them take a number.
Fear Mongering is sometimes opportunistic but lately it is contrived and seems to be a good portion of our domestic policy. The Constitution is only being kept alive by life support and some folks would like to pull the plug.

What evidence do you have that any of these events are staged? I have heard plenty of conspiracy theories on them but I have never heard of a single theory coming forth with solid evidence to back its case. They all rely on vague inconsistencies.

"Just because you can't force the planners of these acts to testify under oath doesn't mean these events were not staged". With this you are saying that you can't force them to confess so there is a chance that they are guilty. That is some pretty bad logic there.

You talk of good evidence. If there was a shred of good evidence then the media would be all over it. I know, you are of the conspiracy kind who believes that all of the media are controlled by the government. What evidence do you have of that? None. Hmmm. I think that you are delusional and working to convince yourself that your delusions are real. You must be very frustrated when the rest of the world do not share your delusions.

control thru terror and using the 'creating the problem then offering the solution' tactic to increase control on society - it's as old as the hills.
